Tell Me Something You Learnt in Grade 9 Algebra…..


If I were to ask you the question in this title, tell me something you learnt in grade 9 algebra, could you do it?  My guess would be that your mind would be blank and you’d have to go back into the depths of your memory bank to try to come up with an answer.  That is,unless you were a fanatic over mathematics when you were in grade 9.  On the flip slip, if I were to ask you to name a character in the story ‘The Wizard of Oz’ I’m sure you would have a name on the tip of your tongue within seconds.

Why is that?  It all comes down to how our brains find it easier to remember characters and the development of characters better than we can retain information.  We all like to be entertained rather than listen to information being given to us.  Remember learning by watching the Sesame Street characters?  Yes, I may be dating myself here but doesn’t everyone know The Cookie Monster?

How is it, that some people sell and make money all day long?  Other people, no matter how hard they try, no matter what they do, they can’t seem to turn a dime on the internet.   If you want people to be attracted to you and want what you have to offer them, then you need to listen to what Diane Hochman has to say in this webinar.

One Sure Fire Way to Guarantee Success in Your Business

What is the #1 question asked when people join a new home based business?

successHere it is:  What can I do that will guarantee my success and allow me to crush it in this business?

We all hear the stories from the front of the stage of the paid off mortgage, the new cars purchased, the trips taken, the freedom to work when you want to work and on and on and on.  Now, I’m not saying those stories are not true.  On the contrary, we all know there are many who have reached all that I’ve just spoken about.

The question is, how did they do it and what can you do to have the same success?

The very first thing that we need to do when we begin a new business – BELIEVE!

What does the word ‘believe’ mean?

According to the dictionary, ‘believe’ means to accept (something) as true; feel sure of the truth of.

I love the phrase, ‘feel sure of’.  That means to be confident, know beyond a shadow of a doubt that what you are about to do, the product or service you are about to promote is something you ‘feel sure of’.

Trust me, if you walk around with confidence in what you are all about, people will buy from you.  On the other hand, someone who allows the opinion of a friend or family member to create doubts in their mind, is not going to be able to grow their business.  We need to have 100% belief in ourselves, our business and our product/service, if we are to succeed.

You need to do your research on the business you are joining, on the product or service you are promoting and the people who have gone on before you to create a lifestyle you are looking for.  Make sure all your questions are answered and that you have confidence in what you are beginning to promote.  Be your own best customer so that you have your story to tell.  No one can deny your story.

When you have your beliefs grounded and secure, only then should you start talking to others.  When people laugh at you or throw questions your way – you will be ready for them.  They will be the ones who are questioning why they are not joining you or buying your product/service!

Success in Network Marketing

So what does it take to be successful in your network marketing business?

Is it all about who you know?  Is it understanding how the compensation plan works?  Is it attending every meeting?  Reading all the right books on success?

I believe success in network marketing, or any business for that matter, comes down to one thing – how many people are you talking to?  I am referring both to the offline and online world.  The importance of having a phone conversation, whether that is by cell phone, landline, skype, facetime, video chat, etc. is of great value.

With  technology all around us, the sound of a human voice has been lost.  When you hear a human voice, trust can be built and the awareness that someone really does care  is felt.

The math is really simple, the more people you talk to, the more leads you will be able to generate.  The more leads you have, the more potential you have for those leads to become customers.
